Ruth Ann Garland Winters

Ruth Ann Garland Winters, age 52, of 131 O’ Henry Drive Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at her home. She was born November 3, 1965 in Mountain City, Tennessee to the late Nadine Harris Richardson and Joe Richardson.  In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Larry ‘Lil John’ Winters, who passed away February 2, 2018. Ruth loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.  She loved helping others, cooking and listening to music.  Ruth was a great and wonderful mother and grandmother and was loved by many.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memories include her sons, Patrick Garland and wife Cornia Jess and Tomas Michalovic, daughters, Priscilla Garland, Brittney Burrow and husband Cody, Andrea Price and husband Dustin and Chelsea Richardson and friend Ryan Mathes, sister, Sonia Winters and friend Johnny Garland, aunt, Jean McKinzie, uncle, Henry Harris and wife Kathy, grandchildren, Serenity Garland, David Jess, Anna Barlow, Triston Garland, Chakotay Burrow, Demistic Burrow, Waylon Price, Olivia Mathes, Iris Mathes and Katelyn Campbell. Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 from the Richardson Cemetery, Dye Leaf Road, Butler, TN.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
