Beverly Ann Gentry Carty    Beverly Ann Gentry Carty, age 49, of  Coeburn, VA and formerly of Laurel Bloomery, TN passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon VA. She was born on April 7, 1969 in Abingdon, VA to Derrell Gentry and the late Phyllis Jean Widener Gentry.   Beverly was a wonderful daughter, a loving wife and mother. She loved spending time with her granddaughter and enjoyed working in flowers. She was a member of Stateline Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memories in addition to her Dad Derrell Gentry, include her husband, Freddie Carty, son Andy Lewis and wife Brittany, granddaughter, Harper Lewis, grandmother, Annis Gentry, step daughter Samantha Danielle Carty, special friends Missy Eller , and Amanda Moore. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 14 , 2018 from1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Graybeal to officiate. Pallbearers will be, Johnathan Moore, Phillip Mullins, Randy Eller, Steve Hawkins, Larry Widener, and Mickey Widener. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Pennington and Stacy Greer. Graveside service and burial will follow from the Stateline Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of her Dad Derrell Gentry, 2152 Sugar Creek Road, Laurel Bloomery, TN 37680.
