Betty Juanita Gilmer

Betty Juanita Gilmer, age 77, of Bristol, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at her residence. She was born on July 24, 1933 to the late George and Veda Maye Carter Fraizer. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Billy Gilmer; a brother, Burley Fraizer and a grandson, Brian Gilmer. Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Charles Puckett; sons and daughters-in-law: Darryll and Teresa Gilmer, Richard Gilmer and Randy and Lois Gilmer; sisters: Loretta McCann and husband Clarence, Mildred Self and husband Noah N.D.' and Debbie Curry and husband Dave; grandchildren: Brittany Robinson and husband Chris, John Mann, Isaiah Mann, Cody Puckett, Chris Gilmer, Melony Hardin and Jason Gilmer and several great grandchildren. It was Betty's wishes to be cremated and that no formal service is conducted. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff of Wellmont Hospice, especially, Tracy, Iva, and Amy for all of their wonderful care.
